Sorry for necro-bumping the thread, but I opened an account to say "thanks" to this info!

I was very surprised to see higher load + temperature after adding 2 more NVME's to my F8-SSD. My previous couple was sitting on slots 1&2, the new ones were installed on 5&6. VT-d was disabled. The whole thing was too confusing until I saw millions of interrupts coming from ACPI, hammering cpu0.

Now I moved the older duo from 1&2 -> 3&4, peace again. Also I enabled VT-d, as a cherry on top! :mrgreen:

Glad that the information helped.

If TerraMaster would include a SoC/platform topline/block diagram in their specifications on their website, it would possibly help them sell more of these to those users that intend to use it for other OSes.
