As long as your TOS is not installed on an M.2 NVMe SSD, the method for reinstalling the system for this model can still be used.

Yes I understand, but how can I view where TOS is installed, what's the problem if TOS is on my NVme SSD ?

True, It says ALL models and then lists a couple of exceptions.

With nvme models there is an internal reset switch which must be pushed to allow the standard initialisation to be available. Otherwise it will just continue to boot from the nvme installed o/s.

For clarity: Can you confirm you wish to do a complete re-install or do you wish to expand the existing disk array(s)?
F5-221 TOS7.0.0777 - 4x4TB (Ironwolf) Traid
F2-424 TOS7.0.0777 - 2x500GB nvme (P3) Traid, 2x6TB HDD (HGST) Traid
F2-221 TOS7.0.0777 - 1x3TB Ext4, 1x4TB Btrfs
F2-425+ TOS7.0.0777 - 2x500GB nvme (P3) Traid, 2x6TB HDD (EXOS) Traid

After the installation is complete, you can go to the disk page in the TOS control panel. The system will mark which disk is the system disk and you can modify it.

Hello and thank you for your reply.
This is a new NAS that I'm installing.
I only received 6 disks initially, and now that I have the other 6 with TRAID,
I can only add them one at a time !
So I might as well reinstall from scratch.
Erasing everything isn't a problem, there's nothing on it yet !
The volume is being built with disk 7 added (only 35%).
Can I shut down the NAS while the volume is bein

Sorry for the late reply. During the array reconstruction process, you can choose to power off the NAS. After restarting, it will continue from the previous progress.
