[Help] Web-DAV Access (remote)

Post by Hausmeier »

Hi,

I have activated the webdav service in TOS6. Then I opened the http-Port (8800) in my Fritz!Box to have a remote access on webdav in a webbrowser. But this doesn't work. Neither does it in Windows Explorer.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I recommend trying WebDAV connection tools such as FileZilla, WinSCP, or RAIDrive.

Ok, thanks for your reply and sorry for my late answer. Well I gave it a new port - then I could log in via browser but after entering my credentials it said "not found". Then I tried WinSCP and FileZilla where it didn't work at all. Any ideas?

You may need to check if your network environment meets the requirements for remote access.
You need a public IP address that can be accessed remotely, and configure DDNS to map the corresponding port.
How to set up DDNS: viewtopic.php?t=433
How to use WebDAV: viewtopic.php?t=6441
How to map ports: viewtopic.php?t=7522
Additionally, you can refer to the FTP remote access method:viewtopic.php?t=1133
If you have already mapped the port but still cannot log in, you can edit the shared folder and check the WebDAV mount permissions for the shared folder.
