'RAID is degraded' F5-221
Yesterday I added a fifth disk to my RAID 5 array (TOS 5.1). After 20 hours of configuring I got this error: https://i.postimg.cc/JDqqzPTJ/NAS1.png I followed some instructions I found telling me to pull the drive out and re-insert it to make sure it was it was seated properly but that didn't change...

Re: Moving from F4-210 to F5-221 problem
https://forum.terra-master.com/en/viewtopic.php?t=3306 … Anyone have any idea if I've missed something obvious? You cannot transition from an ARM series device (the 210) to a ×86/×64 series device (the 221) by simply moving HDDs; the new device needs to be setup as new and you'll need to migrate th...

Moving from F4-210 to F5-221 problem
I'm trying to upgrade to a F5-221. After first checking this thread https://forum.terra-master.com/en/viewtopic.php?t=3306 I thought it would be a simple case of swapping over my drives, powering on and all will be well; as has happened every time I've gone up the F4 models. No luck this time though...

Re: Issue with F4-210
I think the problem is solved now. It seems that for some reason the RAID array decided to rebuild itself.
When I eventually managed to get back into TOS I could see that the drives were synchronising so I just left them to do their thing overnight and everything seems back to normal.

Issue with F4-210
Last night I had a problem connecting to the NAS so I shut the unit down and went to bed. This morning, when I booted it up it took over an hour to start up. It ran normally for about two hours until I was unable to access anything again. I shut down the unit (which took nearly 30 mins) and again it...

Thanks, just updated now.
All seems ok at the moment, we'll see how things are in a few days.

Re: Plex continually configuring since updating to TOS 4.2.28
Yeah, problem is I don't want to have to manully reload a 17 library 24000 file database every three days.
There must be a better way.

Plex continually configuring since updating to TOS 4.2.28
After 2 years of Plex working (almost) flawlessly on my F4-210 I have had big problems since updating to 4.2.28 After the update, trying to open Plex would just give me an endless "Configuring..." message and would never open. Initially I tried replacing the database files with backups whi...

Looking to upgrade from F2-210 to F4-210, a few questions.
I’m still relatively new to the NAS world and I have a very basic grasp of RAID but I just wanted to check a few things before going ahead with an upgrade. I’ve been running a F2-210 for a few months now with two 4TB drives in RAID 1. As I have nearly filled that up I now want to move to a four bay ...
