Important Information:
1.Updating the system theoretically will not affect the data on your hard drives, but for safety, please make sure to back up your data in advance.
2.Before updating, ensure that your primary volume (usually volume1) has at least 3GB of available space. Insufficient storage space may cause the update to fail.
3.After the update, the IP address of your TNAS may change. Please use the TNAS PC desktop client to search for and reconnect to the device.

Update Procedure:
1.Go to TOS > Control Panel > General Settings > System > Update, and click "Check for updates."
2.Follow the prompts to update the system.
3.After the system update is complete, you may need to refresh your browser.
4.The TNAS IP address may change after the update. If you cannot connect to your TNAS using the previous IP address, use the TNAS PC client to search for the new IP address.

What date should the new certificates have? Currently, it is as follows:

It was the same before the update.

11. Updated the firmware for the F8 SSD / F8 SSD Plus.
Is that applied automatically and what is the change log / fix? I had to update PCIe firmware manually in the past ( viewtopic.php?p=49736#p49736 )
Is this the same update, now integrated or does it update something else? How do I check if it applied correctly, like I could with the update linked above?

Yes, the firmware update included in this system update is the same one you previously performed manually. Therefore, there is no need to repeat the update. The method to verify whether it was applied successfully matches exactly what was described in the post you referenced—you can confirm it just as you did last time.

This certificate update is only visible in certain scenarios, so your certificates likely renewed automatically even before this update.

Updated my F4-223 seems fine so far. The update dialog box only got to 9% then I heard the unit beep. I assumed the update was complete.
Waited a few minutes and refreshed the browser. All is fine.
Next is the F4-424 Pro but a bit later.
