I've got a F4-424 Pro running 5.1.145.
I put in the information and it created this link to download the update file https://support.terra-master.com/downlo ... -424%20Pro
I saw the file for 6.0.783 there, but it notes: This update only applies to TOS 6.0.500 and later versions.
How to I get from 5.1.145 to 6.0.500?
I do not see a file to do that, I only see an update to go to an earlier version of 5 (5.1.24) to 5.1.145 and the 6.0.783.

Re: [Help] F4-424 pro upgrade from 5.1.145 to 6
You can first upgrade from 5.1.145 to 6.0.530 using the following upgrade package:
After upgrading to 6.0.530, upgrade to the latest version 6.0.783.
If hyper cache is enabled, please disable it before upgrading.

Looking at the hyper cache applet from the storage manager in control panel - it doesn't have an disable / off setting.
Is this setting elsewhere or just delete the cache drive and add it back after the update?

Re: [Help] F4-424 pro upgrade from 5.1.145 to 6
Also, could the link for the download be put on the f4-424 pro model page?
Re: [Help] F4-424 pro upgrade from 5.1.145 to 6
You can delete the current hyper cache and recreate it after the upgrade is successful.
On the download page, we don't retain too many historical versions. You can find the upgrade package for your system in the forum's update notification module:

Re: [Help] F4-424 pro upgrade from 5.1.145 to 6
After deleting the cache (and a f4-424 reboot); went to the system update uploaded the TOS_X642.0_Update_6.0.530_00148_2410300306.bz2 file. It got to ~ 40% thru system being updated and then had a "failed to update" popup.
Is there a log file somewhere it creates that I can find out why it failed?
The f4-424 pro has a bios of madn0101.v05. Does that need to be updated as well?

Re: [Help] F4-424 pro upgrade from 5.1.145 to 6
BIOS does not need to be updated. You can try clearing the browser cache and updating again.
You can also directly reinstall the system to install version 6.0.783:

I cleared cache and it failed as it did before.
Is there some on device log file I can get to see what's going on?

Sorry, there are no relevant logs available for this situation. If you want to know the reason, you can try collecting a system report and share it via cloud storage to our forum private message or technical support email. This might help us find something out.
