Hello
I have an F2-221 with TOS 5.1.145, and it works really well for the applications I use. I'm a little hesitant to install TOS 6, but I'd like to try it out, so my question is: is it worth upgrading or is it better to leave the TNAS as it is?

Your unit may not be eligible to update past 6.0.519 if its BIOS version is not between MAPL0304V16 to MAPL0304V22, per viewtopic.php?t=6809.
Since you're already on 5.1.145, your system partition is the required ~8 GB, so you'll need to update your initboot drive to the TOS 6.× version to update to a newer build.
You should backup all your data & configuration elsewhere regardless, prior to an in-place upgrade, but a clean installation would likely give you the best performance/experience.

It's recommended to keep current version if there is not any issue in your daily use.

If something works well, there's no reason to change it. So I'll keep the NAS as is and enjoy it for as long as it lasts.
