Terramaster support I still haven't had a response to my email! This is a serious issue that could be affecting a lot of your other customers!
I am not doubting your problem, but it is strange that no one else has reported this issue.
I suppose with the limited release of TOS6 so far there may not be many people running that TOS version with a D5-300 attached.
I have found Terramaster email support to be good, it usually takes them 2 to 3 days to respond.

Does virtualbox work for anyone after upgrading? I always get "An unknown PHP error occurred. This is most likely a syntax error in config.php in phpVirtualBox's folder. The most common errors are an unclosed quote or a missing semicolon in a configuration item that has been entered (e.g. location, username, or password).
Depending on your PHP configuration, navigating directly to config.php in your web browser may display the PHP error message."
Have already tried uninstalling/reinstalling the system + virtualbox. Nothing worked.
no, everything was fine with virtualbox after the update? maybe it's the browser? Have you tried another one? clear the cookies..

Re-posting as someone deleted my post!!!!
I have three Terramaster NASes all with Terramaster recommended D5-300s attached and all of these are populated as T-RAID. I just discovered that all of the 15 drives in the three enclosures were running at temperatures between 70 degrees and 90 degrees celcius and I have no idea idea how long this has been going on for!! At no stage have I received any warnings or notifications!
These drives are potentially ruined and could cost me around £5k to replace! I feel sick!
This is happening on an F2-422, an F4-424 Pro and an F4-423 all running TOS 6.0.577
does anyone else have the same enclosure who can check disk temps?
Hello
F4-423 + D300 - - > 2 x IronWolf 4 TB running resync (170 MB/s for 2 hours), temp is 30 degrees

Ah good, that's a relief for your drives! Terramaster have responded and recognised the issue; Seems like the power option to allow drives to sleep is at fault and should be set to never to prevent this happening. Hopefully they release a fix quickly and not to many people are affected. In the meantime I now need to work out how badly my drives have been affected, although at nearly 90c for two weeks I'm not hopeful they will be in a good state

Hi,
I have a F4-424 base with TOs 5.1.145 and the system tells me that this is the latest version available.
When will Tos 6 be released for this Nas?

I believe never as you need to reconfigure the system after TOS6 install. It should be balanced decision from the owner`s side. But you always may do manual update by downloading the update package.

Because it's a major update that will reset a number of settings, the jump to TOS 6 is a manual one that can only be downloaded from these forums
Check this post:

Your device is supported for the update and once you are on TOS 6 the updates will become automatic from the TOS interface

Thanks for the reply...
The problem is that I had already manually updated it but from that moment on the NAS often froze and so (with many difficulties) I restored to Tos5. Now before trying again I would like to be sure not to encounter the same problems...
The bios version is MADN0101.V05, is it necessary to update it?
Thanks
