Every time I login to TOS7 a little message in red at the top of the screen "Failed to retrieve data", and then it disappears. I have no idea what it refers to or what it means. The NAS seems ok as far as I can tell, just that worrying little popup.

I upgraded successfully my F2-223 to TOS7. However I skipped the 'allow system run a permission conversion process' and don't know how to restart it.
Can you help ?
If you skip this step, you will need to manually reconfigure the permissions for your shared folder; the permissions from TOS 6 will not be inherited.
ok ...

Updated F5-221.
This was the last of my Tos6 devices in use (and my principle backup device).
Noted that "unzip" process shows a countdown. After the countdown completed ......nothing! There is a suspiciously long pause which, particularly on a remote device, is unnerving. Then the "update" continues. Perhaps something could be done to indicate background activity between process segments.
Immediately after initial login all drives appeared normal. Allowed the "permissions adjustment" to continue automatically. This completed without apparent issue.
After a couple of minutes I noted that a "corrupted storage pool" appeared. While I was (sort of) expecting this following Beta experiences, I was surprised that it took time to appear. However, knowing the disk layout, I was able to identify this as a rogue report and delete the "corrupted" pool without concern.
System identified 5 apps as needing update and these were performed without issue.
Proceeded to update to latest Tos7.

There is a Tos7 install package available "in the wild", but you can't guarantee that it will give you the correct bootloader package for your model atm. Best to retry an install of latest Tos6 and update following the applicable notes, warnings and procedures for your particular device.

Ahh i see.
Well I'll try to reset the system first and if it won't help I'll do as you mentioned.
Thanks.

Hello
Do you plan and have a estimated date for an automatic update from version TOS 6.0.0794 ? (not with a manual download & update, on a f4 425)
Thanks

For compatibility and data security reasons, major cross-generation version upgrades are not supported via automatic updates. Only manual upgrades are available.
