F4-220 does not recognize new hard drives - repeated beeps

Hi,


I have a problem with my F4-220 NAS. I deleted the old storage pool (RAID 5 4x3TB) and bought new hard drives (4x WD60EFRZ).

Now I wanted to install it, but the NAS beeps every few seconds. I can't reach the NAS by IP and it doesn't react to anything. What now?

May I know how did you process the replacement from 3TB drives to 6TB drives?

Sure, I deleted the storage pool and shutdown the nas. After that i installed the new ones. I didnt found a correct best practice for this, so this was logical to me...

Did you use several new hard drives or several old hard drives when you reinstalled the system? Did you delete the storage pool after deleting the deleted volume?
Can you operate the fifth step when the network light does not turn on in the fourth step?

I deleted the storage pool and the volumes, after that i inserted the new harddisks, after that step the problem began...

I have the same problem with the F2-210
I am trying to use the same HDD formated, but LAN Led doesn't work.
I had the lastest firmware installed.

Hello, The LED light of your device may be controlled by the system. Maybe the small system on your TNAS motherboard is broken. Is there any flashing at the network port behind the device? Can you still use the TNAS PC to install the system when the network indicator is off? If possible, please continue the installation to repair the boot system on the motherboard.After installation, the LAN led and HDD led will light up. Hello, Is the LAN led light off when the system is installed or after the system is installed? Maybe the small system on your TNAS motherboard is broken.
