I have fourteen shared folders on my F2-425+, two of them hidden from Network neighbourhood. Using WinSCP 6.5.6, FTP shows me the twelve visible folders plus the home folder for the logged-on ID. However, SFTP only shows four folders, including a hidden one, and no home folder. Both admin and my personal ID behave the same. As far as I can see the access rights for all the folders are the same.
So there are two questions arising:
1. Should FTP show all the shared folders or just those not hidden?
2. Why is SFTP only showing four folders instead of twelve (or fourteen)?

Re: [Help] SFTP vs FTP differences
1.FTP will show unhidden folders.
2. We tested your situation locally, and SFTP should also show 12 folders. Could you please restart the SFTP service or try connecting with a different client?

Re: [Help] SFTP vs FTP differences
1. Okay, so it's a design decision. I think it's wrong and FTP should show all folders but that's just me (and Asustor)....
2. Same result using AndFTP on my Android 16 tablet and Filezilla on this W10 PC.
