Note:
If your TOS version is TOS 6, please refer to the TOS 7 beta update instructions first.

Update Notes
Bug Fixes:
1. Fixed an issue where error messages might not be triggered in a timely manner when uploading files with insufficient volume capacity.
2. Fixed an issue where clicking was still possible on some pages after a mask overlay was displayed.
3. Fixed an issue where an incorrect prompt appeared for grayed-out buttons in the storage pool module.
4. Fixed an issue where newly added content might not display correctly after updating an application.
5. Fixed an issue where dragging multiple files simultaneously while uploading files in File Manager could cause the upload to fail.
6. Fixed an issue where the status of Docker-dependent applications might not update in a timely manner.
7. Fixed an issue where the application status on the web end did not update correctly when stopping an application via TNAS mobile.
8. Fixed other known issues.
Important Information:
1.Updating the system theoretically will not affect the data on your hard drives, but for safety, please make sure to back up your data in advance.
2.Before updating, ensure that your primary volume (usually volume1) has at least 3GB of available space. Insufficient storage space may cause the update to fail.
3.After the update, the IP address of your TNAS may change. Please use the TNAS PC desktop client to search for and reconnect to the device.
Update Procedure:
1.Go to TOS > Control Panel > General Settings > System > Update, and click "Check for updates."
2.Follow the prompts to update the system.
3.After the system update is complete, you may need to refresh your browser.
4.The TNAS IP address may change after the update. If you cannot connect to your TNAS using the previous IP address, use the TNAS PC client to search for the new IP address.

Request to completely remove stuck menu shortcuts for OpenClaw and Jellyfin (TOS 7 Beta Feedback - @weerasak)
Dear TerraMaster Support Team / RyanYang,
First of all, thank you for mentioning my username (@weerasak) in the latest TOS 7.0.0616 Beta release notes. I am very glad to contribute feedback to improve the system.
I am writing to report a persistent issue that started in the previous version and is still affecting my system. I have been unable to install the OpenClaw application via the App Center (it always results in an "Install Fail" status).
Moreover, even though the installations failed or were canceled, the shortcut icons for both OpenClaw and Jellyfin are now permanently stuck on my TOS desktop/menu tab. I cannot delete or uninstall them through the regular user interface.
I would like to request your guidance or a fix to completely remove and purge these stuck menu shortcuts from my system so they no longer appear.
I have attached the relevant system logs to this email for your analysis.
Thank you for your continuous support and for making TOS 7 better.
Best regards,
Weerasak

Hi weerasak,
Before we dive deeper, I'd like to confirm two things with you:
1. Are you currently able to install other apps normally?
2. Have you previously tried installing this app on different volumes?
If you originally selected Volume 1 for installation, please open the Terminal from "All Applications" on the TOS desktop, then copy and paste the following command (please be sure to copy and paste, do not type it manually to avoid typos):
Code: Select all
rm -r /Volume1/@apps/openclawhttps://download3.terra-master.com/Apps ... x86_64.deb
Regarding the stuck shortcut icons: please log in with an admin account, right-click the app icon on the navigation bar, and you should see a "Remove from Bar" option — click it to remove.
Feel free to let us know if you have any progress updates or further questions. We're happy to continue assisting.

Re: TOS 7.0.0616 Beta (X86) is Released for Update
just updated and the TNAS is just beeping every 1 or 2 secs I can't log in and using the windows PC app it shows the NAS ready but can't login. looks to me as if the update didn't work for me F5-221 was running TOS 7.0.612 I think . The constant beeping suggests to me that I need to reinstall the OS ?
Re: TOS 7.0.0616 Beta (X86) is Released for Update
Please plug one HDMI monitor to observe output and provide screenshot for analysis

Re: TOS 7.0.0616 Beta (X86) is Released for Update
A beep every 1-2 seconds and unable to log in usually means a degraded array or Hyper Cache error causing the system to keep retrying. Try the following steps:Tom wrote: ↑03 Jun 2026, 06:16 just updated and the TNAS is just beeping every 1 or 2 secs I can't log in and using the windows PC app it shows the NAS ready but can't login. looks to me as if the update didn't work for me F5-221 was running TOS 7.0.612 I think . 1. Wait 5-10 minutes first — the system may be rebuilding or verifying in the background, and it might recover on its own.
2. If still not working, shut down, reseat all drives firmly, and power back on.
3. If you've created a Hyper Cache, shut down, remove the cache SSD, and power on again.
Are you able to log in now? If so, please check the status of any abnormal disks.
