The memory specifications you mentioned are theoretically compatible. However, choosing non-official memory may carry compatibility risks. To ensure optimal stability and performance, we strongly recommend using certified memory that has undergone official rigorous testing.

For anyone itnerested I used 2 x 32GB Crucial DDR-4800 on in F4-424 Max which worked fine, however to fit with the included heatsink I had to shave away some of the plastic on the side of the cover. In the end I just cut out the diamond shaped piece of plastic on the side and covered it with mesh.

I want to warn you that the Crucial 32GB DDR5 4800MHz SODIMM 1.1V CL40 CT32G48C40S5.M16A1 memory is not suitable for F4-424 Max. My F4-424 Max did not start. When turned on, it made short intermittent beeps (1-2 seconds) and the TERRAMASTER logo did not appear on the monitor screen. If you return the native memory, the F4-424 Max starts, one short beep is heard and the TERRAMASTER logo appears on the screen.

Please specify the model of the memory module that you have installed. I read your post and bought a Crucial 32GB DDR5 4800MHz SODIMM 1.1V CL40 CT32G48C40S5.M16A1 memory for the F4‑424 Max, thinking that this memory would work on my F4‑424 Max, but the F4‑424 Max did not recognize the memory and did not start.darkmakers wrote: ↑02 Dec 2025, 09:32 For anyone itnerested I used 2 x 32GB Crucial DDR-4800 on in F4-424 Max which worked fine, however to fit with the included heatsink I had to shave away some of the plastic on the side of the cover. After replacing the memory module, the system requires approximately 3 to 5 minutes to perform a BIOS memory verification during startup. If there is still no response after waiting for an extended period following power-on, it indicates that the memory module is incompatible with the device.
