[Help]

Post by JonBlaze25 »

Hi,
I have my f2-221 unit, this Morning it was working and connected to my network with no problems. Now when I go login it’s telling me my password is invalid on the login webpage, I tried to reset my password and it’s telling me invalid code/email. Are you guys having issues internally or is my device crapping out on me…I have my plex server media on one of the two hard drives installed and obviously don’t want to lose my data. i can see the device on my network via the t-nas pc app and i can see my folders on the drives using the network icon going into the device.
any help is appreciated

When logging in, even if the correct username and password are entered, an error message is displayed. This is usually caused by a database exception, and you can resolve this issue by reinstalling the system. viewtopic.php?t=423
If your device meets the upgrade requirements, we recommend upgrading to TOS 6. Please refer to this post: viewtopic.php?t=6809

ok, my main concern however is will i have to format both of my drives? i don't want to lose 10tb of data on one drive for my plex media, nor do i really have the time to back this all up to another device.

Reinstalling system will not normally touch the data. See caveats in detailed links.
