No issues, did the F2 first, the then F4, reboots were fine, LUNs reattached after the F4 rebooted.
Need to see if email notifications have the task name in the subject. Also need to check if an email warning is still sent when I do a SSH RSYNC from the F2 to F4.

I updated my NAS but the schedule to turn on the NAS doesn't work
Re: TOS 6.0.783 (X86) is Released for Update
What is your TNAS model? Do you have a UPS in use? Have you entered the BIOS once before it reaches the startup time?

Re: TOS 6.0.783 (X86) is Released for Update
I repost what I posted before on many other TOS 6 firmware, here happens the same (F4-423 running this FW):
- whatever external SSD (SATA or NVMe to USB) I plug-in over USB, it is recognized
- even if it has only ONE partition Ext4, it recognizes explendid the content (or that it has nothing) and also the complete size and available size
- it FAILS TOTALLY to copy some internal folder to the external SSD using the built-in app
"Replication Failed!Insufficient available space."
Of course this happens when the external SSD has enough free space (ex: folder is 136GB and the SSD has 1TB free)
Done things:
- I tried to format the SSD from the NAS itself, EXT4 (did not try FAT32 as I do not want to. For me EXT4 or NTFS but the NAS only allows EXT4 format)
- same error
- if I format on my PC (EXT4), it starts to copy but fails, or fails from the beginning

Re: TOS 6.0.783 (X86) is Released for Update
We have noticed and replied to your post on the 6.0.770 update topic.
Does this SSD have similar issues when connected to a PC (NTFS/FAT32/exFAT) or a Mac (APFS/exFAT) or others linux system?
If you have not observed similar anomalies on other systems, please provide the SSD model number and schedule an engineer for remote inspection via the official website's Live Chat (please mention the URL of this post).

Re: TOS 6.0.783 (X86) is Released for Update
Update: I've reinstalled tos and in the installer tnas get ip but After system installation getting IP through DHCP didn't Work... So it's related to this new version..Ludovic wrote: ↑25 Sep 2025, 16:07I was on tos 6.0.770 if I remember. And before update I was on dhcp
Edit: I can't reactivate dhcp because he didn't get ip. Other client wired or just wireless are getting an IP it's just an issue with tos.
Edit 2: Searched in /var/log/syslog for any revelant information about ipv4 but nothing only regarding the ipv6 that is set to auto in tos, and can't change any settings for eth1. and no ip.. I've also tried with another router and doesn't work too...

Re: TOS 6.0.783 (X86) is Released for Update
Updated my F424-Pro without issues but one. On restart Docker engine had to be manually enabled. This is something that sometimes happens on reboots in general. Is there a fix?
Re: TOS 6.0.783 (X86) is Released for Update
We have not yet observed similar issues caused by this update. If you are running a large number of services, it is likely that the Docker service has not yet started successfully.
We recommend waiting for a while longer and then observing the situation.

I confirm that the issue is with EXT4! (whether formatted in a pc or at the NAS itself)mmick wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025, 00:57 I repost what I posted before on many other TOS 6 firmware, here happens the same (F4-423 running this FW):

I formatted the SSD as NTFS and the issue is gone (copying, lets see if it finishes well). Does anyone at Terramaster read this? I got no answer...
Re: TOS 6.0.783 (X86) is Released for Update
