2.Before updating, ensure that your primary volume (usually volume1) has at least 3GB of available space. Insufficient storage space may cause the update to fail.
3.After the update, the IP address of your TNAS may change. Please use the TNAS PC desktop client to search for and reconnect to the device.
Update Procedure:
1.Go to TOS > Control Panel > General Settings > System > Update, and click "Check for updates."
2.Follow the prompts to update the system.
3.After the system update is complete, you may need to refresh your browser.
4.The TNAS IP address may change after the update. If you cannot connect to your TNAS using the previous IP address, use the TNAS PC client to search for the new IP address.

Re: TOS 6.0.783 (X86) is Released for Update
FYI: updates installed one by one 694 -> 770 -> 783
All volumes (and pool) were lost after 783 was loaded, system asked me to create new ones. I rejected this and manually rebooted system again. All volumes returned back, data is ok. Perhaps it will be a big problem if somebody will agreed with system proposal and creates new volumes (and new pool) at first load on version 783.

Re: TOS 6.0.783 (X86) is Released for Update
Upon receiving your feedback, our lab promptly conducted a retest to replicate the issue. Analysis indicates that this phenomenon is likely due to certain disks not being recognized in time during the system update and restart process.
Therefore, we recommend you try the following steps:
1. Check whether the disk tray is securely fastened with screws and ensure the disk is fully locked in place. You can try reseating the disk and then restarting the device.
2. It is advised to enable Debug Mode in the "Support & Help" section of the system before restarting. If the anomaly occurs again after restarting, further analysis can be performed using the debug logs.
If the issue persists, please feel free to contact us, and we will assist you as soon as possible.

Phew, every new update is a risky venture.
There are always brave people (thanks) who dare to share their experiences.
I think I won't update until I've verified that everything works properly and there's no risk of data loss.
