[Help] Portainer reinstall

Post by vignatiev »

Hello! I've moved all my apps from Volume 1 (hdd) to Volume 3 (ssd). I've fully uninstalled Docker Engine, Docker Manager and Portainer apps. When I've reinstalled them, I cannot login to Portainer again. First page on new Portainer is Login instead Create admin user. Last auth creds shows login error.
How can I resolve this? There are no folders at old path - `Volume1/@apps`, except `.Snapshot`.
Can I install Portainer with default (linux) way via terminal?

Please check if there are any Docker-related folders under Volume 1 directory. If there are, delete them. Additionally, you can clear your browser cache and re-enable Docker.

You could try removing any Portainer volumes or persistent data manually before reinstalling. Installing via terminal with the official Linux method should work and might bypass the issue.
