I don't understand why TM, if it releases an update with problems, doesn't withdraw it so that others can't install it until it has fixed all the bugs.

I don't understand it either. in livechat, they recommend a clean reinstall for any incoming calls.luismartin wrote: ↑12 Jul 2025, 19:58 I don't understand why TM, if it releases an update with problems, doesn't withdraw it so that others can't install it until it has fixed all the bugs.

Well, for now, we'll have to wait for the next update and check for bugs before updating by reading the brave people who have updated and whether there have been any bugs.
For now, I've already disabled the "Automatically check and download updates" option.
I've already had a couple of problems with TM updates and don't want to take any more risks.

Looks like I dodged a bullet on this one. Just checked for updates and find there are none - and a small added message on the original post that "rollout is paused". Feel sorry for those whose system already downloaded the update, but don't follow the forums.

Re: TOS 6.0.750 (X86) is Released for Update
all i can say is its working fine for me so whatever the issue is, it hasnt seem to affected me, but maybe its because im now on a static IP rather than relying on DHCP, the F2-423 just came up after the update as normal, started my virtual box VM and away it went

Re: TOS 6.0.750 (X86) is Released for Update
Is it safe tо install v694 (viewtopic.php?t=8336) trough TOS interface and update v750 manually to downgrade TOS version to previous v694?

ok you got me again, Remote folder wasnt enabled following the update, again as a result woke up to a very slugglish and hardly responsive nas drive, because it had filled the local drive up and was trying to back up TB's worth of data onto a drive that couldnt take it
stopped the TFM backup tasks, deleted the data in the local backup folder and away it went, Load figure was up to 100% but with low CPU

Re: TOS 6.0.750 (X86) is Released for Update
Thank you - that's something else I will have to watch for (along with apps not starting, schedules breaking, ups oddities and miriades of stuff I need to remember when booting and/or updating).
@TMSupport - this is getting boring!
