[Help] F2-212 continuos reboot

Post by jduraper »

i, when updating the F2-212 NAS from TOS version 5.1.17 to version 6.0.585, it remained stuck with the "installing update 0%" message box for a long time.
So I thought there was some problem. I turned off the NAS and it didn't work again.
Now it's in a continuous boot loop. The power LED comes on, the fan starts, the drives boot, and the loop starts again.
Is there any way to break it out of the loop?
I've already removed the battery, with no effect.
colud I create an USB for bootit using Bootloader? how i can prepare it?

Thanks.

That doesn't apply to the ARM based 212 series TNAS devices.

6.0.585 only supports TOS 5.1.73 and above for updates. Your 5.1.17 version does not meet the requirements.
It is recommended to reinstall the 5.1.73 system and try to update again.

Hello, thaks for yours interest, how does CursaYang comented the TOS 5.1.17 was wrong, I was going from TOS 5.1.73 to 6.0.585. the big problem is all boot information is for x86 and by ARM there are nothing. If someone know how could connect via USB a Bootloader firmware?

Please upgrade TOS 5.1.17 to TOS 5.1.73 first
https://forum.terra-master.com/cn/viewtopic.php?t=3924
Then refer to the upgrade instructions of arm. I hope it can help you.
