Hello! To help us more accurately identify the issue, could you please provide additional details about your usage scenario? For example, are you copying via the SMB protocol, or are you performing the copy operation through the TNAS interface in a web browser?TechExplorer wrote: ↑28 Apr 2025, 19:59 Please Help!
I cannot copy between shared folders and getting Error 0x8007010B.
I am using Windows 11 Pro on F4-424 Pro.
The current error appears to be caused by an invalid directory under the Windows operating system. Could you also let us know if you have installed Windows on your TNAS ?

Re: [Help] Getting Error 0x8007010B when copying bwtween shared folders
Issue happens when I copy through Windows Explorer. I mapped both Shared Folder and try to copy files. I am not sure if I am using SMB protocol. How to know?
I also have the TNAS app installed in Windows.

According to your description, it seems that you are using SMB mapping. We recommend that you follow the steps below to access the TNAS via SMB and test whether the copy operation still reports an error:
1. Double-click "This PC" on your computer desktop and enter the TNAS IP address in the address bar (for example: `\\192.168.1.100`);
2. Enter your username and password to access the TNAS shared folders.
If the issue persists, you can try the following solutions:
1. Restart the SMB service: go to "Control Panel - File Services - SMB" on the TNAS and restart the service;
2. Remap the drive: disconnect the current mapping in Windows and add it again.
Additionally, please confirm:
- Is the account you are using an administrator account?
- Does this account have access permissions to all the shared folders?
