Plex not displaying anything in library

I have added an anime library, pointed it to a folder that exists (I have it the same on a different plex server).

But clicking scan library doesn't seem to find the anime I have added.

Is there some post install process I need to have done?

1.Verify Folder Permissions:
Ensure that the folder containing your anime files has the correct permissions set. Plex needs to be able to read the files in order to scan and add them to the library.

2.Check File Formats:
Confirm that the anime files are in a format that Plex supports. Commonly supported formats include MKV, MP4, AVI, etc.

I have a F4-423, running TOS 6.0.650, and BIOS 5.19

I have used pretty much every guide I can find, set up a profile for plex, not set one up, used the app store version of plex, used a .tpk from plex itself; and I just can't get Plex to see any of the files and my libraries remain empty. What should i do ？
