F4-210 Shows wizard when I boot

Post by jmricker »

I have a F4-210 that I have 4 drives installed into. The NAS itself is just over a year old. I went to access my drive this morning and couldn't bring up anything. I went to UI, but initially got a 502 Bad Gateway error. So I rebooted but now I'm being prompted to fill out the Wizard again and reformat my drives. I tried SSHing to the NAs but get a failure in name resolution.

I do not want to lose the data so how do I begin to troubleshoot and recover?

Based on the cases that have been made, the most likely ones are system damage by accident or virus, and HDD failure.
Since there doesn't seem to be any access method at the moment, you might consider trying to reset the system first, which could resolve some of the system level issues.
