'RAID is degraded' F5-221

Post by relaxa »

Yesterday I added a fifth disk to my RAID 5 array (TOS 5.1). After 20 hours of configuring I got this error:

I followed some instructions I found telling me to pull the drive out and re-insert it to make sure it was it was seated properly but that didn't change anything. The drive is showing as fine so I followed these instructions to try to repair the array. viewtopic.php?t=1545&sid=8c2da113d2a066 ... 1a32e358b4

But after I click Configure it just waits for a few seconds before saying 'Configuration saved!' and then I'm back to the 'RAID is degraded' page.

The volume itself seems to be working fine however.

Anyone have any idea?

We have not been able to locate the problem based on the information you have provided so far. Please generate and download the log report package in TOS > Technical Support > Report Issues, and then send it to support(at)terra-master.com for inspection.
If you can't send the zip package because it's too big, you can delete the following folders of the zip package to reduce the size.
etc>tos>scripts
etc>udev
etc>init.d
To contact our team, please send email to following addresses, remember to replace (at) with @:
Technical team: support(at)terra-master.com (for technical support)
Service team: service(at)terra-master.com (for purchasing, return, replacement, RMA service)
