TOS 6.0.577 (X86) is Released for Update

Target Users:
Users currently running TOS 6.0.500 or later versions.
Note: If your TOS version does not meet the requirements, please first check the update conditions for TOS 6.0.530.

Warning!

• This version is not compatible with the Beta version's permissions.If permissions cannot be inherited after the update, you need to temporarily assign other permissions and then reset them to the ones you need.

Update Notes
Bugs fixed:
1. Fixed an issue that the MAC address was not returned for network ports without a connected Ethernet cable.
2. Fixed an issue that SMB failed to start in certain cases after reinstalling the system.
3. Fixed an issue that hidden folders were displayed when accessing via WebDAV.
4. Fixed an issue that the media index failed to index files starting with a dot (`.`).
5. Fixed an issue that the media index could not be enabled due to accidental corruption of the media index database.
6. Fixed an issue that errors occurred when executing the `VBoxManage` command.
7. Fixed an issue that an uninitialized USB drive could not be formatted.
8. Fixed an issue that the system could not join a domain in certain cases.
9. Fixed several other bugs.

What is new:
1. Added the `atop` command tool.
2. Added the macvlan network driver.
3. Optimized the configuration method for parameters when creating arrays.
4. Optimized the software list for `apt` commands to install and uninstall packages.
5. Optimized the logic for downloading and deleting logs in debug mode.
6. Optimized information in the system reports.
7. Optimized the display of certain languages in the system interface that the text was too long.

Important Information:
1.Updating the system theoretically will not affect the data on your hard drives, but for safety, please make sure to back up your data in advance.
2.Before updating, ensure that your primary volume (usually volume1) has at least 3GB of available space. Insufficient storage space may cause the update to fail.
3.After the update, the IP address of your TNAS may change. Please use the TNAS PC desktop client to search for and reconnect to the device.

Update Procedure:
1.Go to TOS > Control Panel > General Settings > System > Update, and click "Check for updates."
2.Follow the prompts to update the system.
3.After the system update is complete, you may need to refresh your browser.
4.The TNAS IP address may change after the update. If you cannot connect to your TNAS using the previous IP address, use the TNAS PC client to search for the new IP address.

with my F2-221 I started from 5.1.123. I then installed the beta 6.0.229 and from that I then installed 6.500.
Then the updates arrived automatically.

Sorry, my bad. "the beta 6.0.229 and from that I then installed 6.500" not the 6.5, from 6.0.229 to 6.533, after that i had automatic updates and everything worked fine.
Beta 6.0.460 almost destroyed my NAS..
