Mobile app crashes after logging in after TOS 6 upgrade

Post by section94 »

What the title says. It used to work when I had TOS 5.1 but now both my Android phones with android 13 don't work any more. I log in with my credentials and after a few seconds the app just closes.
Tried installing older versions of the app but they say the NAS is not initialized (it certainly is). What can I do?

Are you upgraded your TOS to version 6.0.555? Is your LAN1 Ethernet port unplugged? Please insert an Ethernet cable into the LAN1 port and then reinstall the TNAS mobile app to try again.

That was it but....WHY? Whatever the reason I think it should be mentioned in the app somewhere, like a pop-up or something that you must use the LAN1 Ethernet port.
