Longer USB C Cable for D5-300C

Post by mmurley3 »

According to this thread, the D5-300C supports a 2 meter cable but requires an extension chip?

What's an extension chip? what cable works? One post says it shows a picture but there isn't one.

It's likely in reference to being an active cable like this: https://tripplite.eaton.com/usbc-active ... U33005MC2C

Yes, a 2-meter cable requires a signal amplifier chip, and we have verified that a 1.5-meter cable can be perfectly adapted.

That's a 16 foot (5 meter) "power over USB C" cable?

Regardless of the length, it literally says "data only" in the item title; plus you clearly didn't read the description of the product.

If you're this dense, it's pointless trying to help you.
