Permission Issue

Hello all,

I am running TOS 6 on a new F4-424 Max
I have a Multimedia folder that I have given Read/Write permission to Plex and other applications
I have also done the same under User Groups and enable Read/Write permission as well.

The issue I am having is that the permission since to randomly go away for no apparent reason, not sure if anyone else experience this or has a fix.
I have rebooted the box, reset permission but this issue continues to occur rather frequently.

Any thoughts or permanent solutions?

ok just got prompted to update, installing now.
What would be the best way to fix the permission in one go once update is installed?

After the update, please check if the permissions have been restored.

I am having the same model, updated to 6.0.507 yesterday and have exactly the same issue still. Its irritating to keep trying multiple options for such granting a simple permission. Please work on this issue ASAP. I tried all the "Apply sample permissions" option, etc but nothing work. I have 4 folders inside one folder. 3 of them are accessible and the 4th doesnt have access.

After the update, if permissions cannot be inherited, you need to temporarily assign alternative permissions such as prohibit or read/write access, and then reset them to the required ones.
