Can't get Wol to Work on my F4-423 no matter what i do

Post by RPGD »

Hello,

I have WOL enabled in Bios and TOS, in TNAS for PC i see wol activated and no matter i do i can't get divice to start.

I'm Using wakemeonlan

Do i need to configure something more on F4-423 or in the router?

Thank you

Rui

Did you find an answer?
This may help (or not ;) )
I have both 'Wakemeonlan' and 'WakeOnLan' On my network. If I scan the segment I find that both modules will give me:
Lan1 on F5-221 (Primary LAN in bonded link) but not LAN2 (subsidiary LAN in bonded Link)
LAN2 on F2-424 (backup lan in passive bond) but not LAN1 (Primary LAN)

Sending WOL to LAN2 works on F2-424 even though it should not according to the advisory messages (Only works on LAN1 in Bonded Link)

Both 221 & 424 are currently running Tos5.1.145

Make sure you are scanning correct network segment. In WakeMeOnLan this appears to change to default on every start. {I did a full delete and re-scan to be certain}.

WOL from TNAS-PC appears to work as expected as well.

I am not able to test the F5-221 as it's 'working'.
