I tried CloudSync, but you cannot access folders outside of public. I've confirmed this with support. I want to backup my Plex server files which are in /Volume1/Plex/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server
is there anyway to do with without winscp which takes forever to download files?

Re: I want to backup a folder outside of Public
Where do you need to backup to? The destination may determine what is available. Rsync possibly? If I am backing up (random) folders I tend to use third party backup running on another machine which can backup files using smb (or whatever protocol you can use) from nas to another device (usually either windows or another nas which is my base network). Not necessarily quick, but reliable.

I'd prefer to mega or my laptop. I'll checkout that rsync as an option. Thanks

You may misunderstand something.
All the directories you can see in File Manager are available as optional directories on CloudSync.
You can also expand the Plex folder and ultimately select the subdirectory you want as the backup source.
If you are still confused, please send a screenshot of the problem you are experiencing.

I hope I'm missing something, but I spoke with tech support and sent screenshots. I cannot see this folder in the file manager as it's outside of the public folder. I'll send you a screenshot though.TMzethar wrote: ↑06 Aug 2024, 18:58 You may misunderstand something.

Oh man I feel dumb. I checked again when my system wasn't sluggish and that folder Plex does open up to the one I was looking for. CloudSync does work.usrname wrote: ↑07 Aug 2024, 03:51I hope I'm missing something, but I spoke with tech support and sent screenshots.
