2.5G Adaptor TOS 5.1.67 F5-221

Hello,

I just bought the 2.5G USB-A Adaptor, because I wanted to upgrade my network to 2.5G.
The 2.5G Adaptor is listed under lsusb but I can't find it under interfaces and it doesn't request an IP over DHCP.
Does anybody know how to fix this other than going back to 5.0.176?

Restart your NAS with it plugged in & it should show up on TOS after reboot.

I already rebooted several times. The adaptor is shown unter lsusb, but not in ip a nor under Network Interfaces in GUI. I also found an older post where someone had the same problem and only got it to work till 5.0.176 and that topic is locked without a solution.

Verify it works in another OS.

Well, I tried it on 3 Windows 11 PCs and all of them can use it and connect to the network, but non of them is able to detect the A-USBLAN-2.5G Adaptor with this Realtek tool. So I was not able to change any of the programming.

I updated to TOS 5.1.123 and nothing changed. Still the TerraMaster A-USBLAN-2.5G Adaptor is not working on my NAS. I also tried on a Linux PC with Fedora 39 - no problem.

Ok, installed Windows 10 Pro on a Proxmox VM and with that it was possible to flash the device. With Windows11 it didn't work on 3 PCs. Now it's working.
