Re: Re-Boot Loop F2-221 [Running TOS6 Beta]

OK, so old F2-221 left for dead (for now anyway) Set up a new F2-424 (standard, no 'extras') and checked boot into bios = OK. Just changed Bios date. Set up old Tos 6.0 disks (Traid) and booted. Everything appears OK except previously unseen error message(s) BTRFS error (device dm-0): parent transi...

Re: Copying files: 25sec transfer 115MB/s - 5 sec. 25MB/s or timeout

Actually, it's not as mysterious as you described! When encountering slow speed or interruptions, based on our nearly 10 years of service experience, the reasons can be summarized into the following few categories, and they are basically unrelated to the system. https://forum.terra-master.com/en/vi...

Re: Copying files: 25sec transfer 115MB/s - 5 sec. 25MB/s or timeout

Re: Is it possible to clone the USB initboot device?

Like I mentioned I'm not very conversant with Linux, and seeing page upon page upon page upon page of users running into issues with this process (that could so very easily be made simpler), you will understand why I want a little less jank with my interactions with Terramaster devices, even just fo...

Re: Is it possible to clone the USB initboot device?

I'm not Linux savvy unfortunately. I imagine this should also be possible with run of the mill cloning apps on Windows or Mac?

Is it possible to clone the USB initboot device?

As it says in the subject - can I clone the USB boot drive if I want to store a backup for restoring to a new USB drive?

Re: TRAID capacity not matching up with actual drives

Generally, the disk you add to TRAID go through more than one step, and the capacity increases in stages. Maybe after waiting for the synchronization to complete, you'll end up with 32TB of capacity. No, the synchronization finished after 2 days and I was left with 21TB - the same amount you would ...
