Re: SSH superuser access to NAT
Yes, thank you. I have already come up with a non-standard solution - I installed the server OS RHEL 9.3 and control all processes and permissions myself, as well as installing exactly the software I need. I understand that you want to release your own build for NAS devices, but it's terrible, it's ...

In addition, I had constant problems with the VI editor, which didn't want to edit configs properly. Among other things you have completely redone the standard things in the system including th...

Re: SSH superuser access to NAT
In TOS5+ root and admin were disabled as users (ostensibly to reduce risks of hacking and ransonware attacks). The user created at time of installation is the 'superadmin' or whatever you want to call it. You cannot 'gain root access/priviledge' in the usual unix/linux manner. Confusing, for us old...

Problems with remote access setup
I'm trying to enable remote access to my NAS, but the boot menu doesn't go away after clicking "apply". It thinks endlessly, thinks, thinks. I end up having to reboot the server. https://i.ibb.co/5hY3Kkx/image.png When I reopen this remote access setup window, it says that the registration...

[test@testnas ~]# nano -bash: nano: command not found What to do in such a case? I am unable to save a file in the VI editor and I would ...
