Problems with remote access setup

Post by n3cr0x »

I'm trying to enable remote access to my NAS, but the boot menu doesn't go away after clicking "apply". It thinks endlessly, thinks, thinks. I end up having to reboot the server.

When I reopen this remote access setup window, it says that the registration is complete. And there is even a generated link for remote access. But I can't connect to it.

In this regard, a few questions:

1. Why do I get an endless process download when I click "apply"?
2. If I terminate the process in this way, what is the probability that the link I see is generated correctly and why then I have no access?
3. As for the router, should certain ports be open on it?

The connection to the server may be poor, you can try replacing it with another server.
TNAS.online can help you access TOS web pages while does not require an open port.
If you want to directly open your device to the internet for remote access, please refer to this:
