All those rushing to upgrade to TOS 6, TOS6 has some serious samba issues with small files, I'd be waiting till that's fixed before rushing to upgrade.. Terramaster Engineers, can we add a way to monitor file transfers in the file manager. Example - if you add a remote server then xfer files from it to the host server there is no way to monitor that transfer, it's more than a little frustrating as you have no way to tell if it's even completed.

ok have done more testing it's definitely something in F/w 6.0.507, if it was a hardware issue with the drives, or the F8, id get the same results in TrueNAS Core.. MTU on the F5-422 and F8 SSD set the same, both 10Gbe connections via the same switch, the F8 is on F/w 6.0.507, the F5 is on F/w 5.1.1...

I will also add I have erased the Array and TOS and started from scratch twice and same issue

Apologies.. finder on a Mac and also tried windows explorer, same issue the F5 is much quicker which doesn't make sense
