Re: Plex not seeing my media folders after I upgraded to TOS 6?
I actually just discovered that the Plex user account is listed under Application Users, but only when viewing the shared folder permissions. If you re-apply those permissions to your shared folder then it should resolve the issues.

Re: Plex not seeing my media folders after I upgraded to TOS 6?
I had this same issue, and sorta still do! The Plex user account is no longer visible, but still exists somehow. I try to recreate it and get an error saying that the account already exists, even though TOS doesn't display the account! I had to set the Permissions for the media folder to be wide ope...

Missing users and groups after ugrade to TOS6
Hi Everyone, After performing an upgrade to TOS 6 I noticed that my previously configured users and groups are not showing. I would just recreate them, however when I try to do that the system tells me the names are already in use. I can't delete them, because they aren't shown and I can't recreate ...

Logged into my TNAS today and suddenly for no apparent reason, the entire systems language has changed! What is going on? It's some unreadable text that honestly doesn't even look like a language and just looks like some kind of gibberish. Everything else seems to be working fine, but this is curren...

Re: Replicate all data to new storage pool
So what is the purpose of Shared Folder -> more -> Advanced -> Restore to [Vol1|Vol2|Vol3] Curious as it never seems to do anything positive. Its main function is as stated: "After the system is updated, or after the volume is remounted, some shared folders may fail to be mounted and cannot be...

Re: Recover a system drive that's full
Judging from your feedback, it is still difficult to locate the cause of the problem. In order to help you solve this problem more efficiently, we will arrange for remote service support to ensure that the problem can be dealt with in a timely manner. That would be so helpful! Thank you very much

Re: Recover a system drive that's full
Good stuff. In the meantime I did glance at your previous posts and see that you started out running TOS4. So, at some point, you must have upgraded the OS to TOS5. Did you ensure, at the time, that you had the proper 8GB of system space? (TOS4 only installed 2GB space). Now the harder (??) questio...
