[Help] F4-423 TOS 6.0.794 - NAS running Syncronization after every shutdown and bootup.

I got the F4-423 a few months back.
Installed and updated all the way to TOS 6.0.794 and proceed to populate with 4 identical 12TB drives and did a TRaid. Initialised fine, sync and worked great for the following few months and enjoying using the NAS.
Last week I did a clean shutdown via TOS web interface and the NAS powered down normally. Next morning I powered it back on, booted fine and it was operational and everything was smooth. A few moments later started hearing the HDDs working hard. Went into TOS and saw the NAS started a Syncronization (Sync) task. So after about 36hours, sync ended without any errors and I continued using like normal. I assumed the NAS ran Sync because it had been months since I fully shut down the NAS, so I thought nothing of it.
Days later, I again shutdown the NAS fully via TOS web interface. Upon power up, the NAS again ran Sync on its own and had to wait for it to finish the task.
I got curious and again shut down the NAS after it COMPLETED the Sync. Boot up the NAS yesterday and it AGAIN ran a new Sync process.
What is going on? Does TOS6 run Sync after every shutdown and power up? Is this a known bug?
Note that I don't get the Sync task running if I run a 'Reboot' via TOS interface. This only happens after a full shutdown and power up via the front power up button.
