Hello, I have a NAS TM F2-210 in Raid 1 with two disks 4gb.
I want to upgrade to F2-221, which is the correct procedure to switch the disks in the new nas and maintain all my files intact?
Thanks
Upgrade f210 to f221
Re: Upgrade f210 to f221
F2-210 and F2-221 are devices of different architectures, the hard disk of F2-210 must be formatted if you want to use it on F2-221。Therefore, you need to back up the device data through other storage devices or network disks.

Re: Upgrade f210 to f221
Thanks TMzethar
as there are two disks in raid, is it possible to format one by one and avoiding to backup? Actually I don-t have other disks where I can put the backup...

Re: Upgrade f210 to f221
The premise is that your array is raid1. You can keep a disk in F2-210 and copy the data to F2-221 after F2-221 is installed.
