[Help] Gnome Files Connecting to SMB Shows 'Folder is Empty'
Using Ubuntu 25.10 and trying to connect to TNAS 7.0.0485 via SMB. When I connect to a Windows Server share (i.e. smb://[IP ADDR], I see a list of shares. When I try to connect to TNAS, I get the message "Folder is Empty". BUT... I can connect directly to a share successfully, just not the the TNAS server and see the list of file shares. Is this by design or am I doing something wrong?
Re: [Help] Gnome Files Connecting to SMB Shows 'Folder is Empty'
The folder structures of SMB shares on a NAS and those on Windows Server may differ.

Re: [Help] Gnome Files Connecting to SMB Shows 'Folder is Empty'
This is likely due to how the NAS handles SMB browsing rather than a client issue. Have you checked if SMB1 browsing is disabled or if the NAS requires direct share paths instead of listing?
