[Help] May I empty Volume1\publc\#recycle folder? [SOLVED]

Hi,

I just emptied the Recycle Bin, or rather the Volume1\public\#recycle folder, and recovered about 700GB...
Why is the #recycle bin so large? Is it a problem if it empties every now and then? Can I set it to empty automatically?
