[TOS 7.0.0364] TRAID on D6-320 expansion unit fails to mount automatically after reboot

Model: F6-424 Max Expansion Unit: D6-320 (Connected via USB) TOS Version: 7.0.0364

Description of the issue: I am having issues with the automatic mounting process of storage pools located on the D6-320 expansion unit whenever the NAS is rebooted.

Drive Configuration on Expansion Unit:
  • [] Storage Pool 4: TRAID (1 x 4TB Toshiba HDWD240) [] Storage Pool 5: Single Disk (1 x 2TB WDC WD20EZRZ)
The Problem: After every reboot, Storage Pool 4 (TRAID) does not mount. The system indicates that the RAID is corrupted or cannot be found.

Current Workaround: To fix it, I have to:

Physically power off the D6-320 unit.

Power it back on.

Manually click "Mount" in the TOS Storage Manager. After this, the status returns to "Normal".

It seems like TOS 7 attempts to mount the TRAID array before the USB expansion unit is fully initialized or recognized by the system during the boot sequence.

Question: Is there a way to delay the mounting process or a fix for this synchronization issue in TOS 7?

Please try to re-plug the D6-320 after the NAS restarts to see if the storage pool can be mounted normally. Please generate and download the log report in TOS > Technical Support > Issue Report, then send it to our technical support email ([email protected]). We will analyze it.

Current TOS version 7.0.0375

The problem persists in this version.

I'm sorry, but I can't perform those tests. I have ongoing services that I can't stop.
