I would love to see Gitlab able to be installed directly from the application menu.

I will feed back this requirement to the product team for evaluation. Currently, you can install GitLab via Docker.

Any updates on this?
I know this can be done via the Docker Manager, however, I am not certain if coincidental, however, are there any benefits, resource wise? eg, are applications added into the App Store optimized for this hardware, or is this the exact same thing and RAM/CPU usage will be the same across any installation method?

Also, would like to request to add auth/iam software, such as Authentik, thank you very much.

Setting aside Docker’s own resource overhead, there is generally little difference in performance overhead between running the same version of an app in a TOS environment and in a Docker container.
