[Help] Potential hack or UI glitch? UI showing scrambled/corrupted characters (TOS7)

Hi everyone,

I’m writing because I encountered a very alarming situation today when trying to log into my TerraMaster NAS. I'm concerned about whether this is a security breach or a system failure.

As you can see in the attached screenshot, the entire TOS user interface is displaying unreadable symbols and scrambled characters. I cannot read any menu options or navigate the settings properly.

My setup and details:

NAS Model: F6-424 Max.

TOS Version:TOS7 Penultimate update

What I've tried: I have cleared my browser cache and tried accessing the NAS from different browsers and devices, but the issue persists.

File Status: I can still access my files via SMB and they seem fine.

I've verified that this only happens on my usual computer, using different browsers and even in incognito mode. However, when accessing it from another computer, the interface displays correctly.

Hi.
If you are using Windows, your computer is likely using a less common encoding for non-Unicode parts. You can try enabling 'Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support'.

It seems it was an isolated error on my computer (although I'm not sure). It hasn't happened again.

Best regards and thank you.
