Update Notes
Bugs fixed:
1. Fixed an issue where previously configured settings were not retained after disabling SNMP.
2. Fixed an issue where creating a traffic control rule could fail when a custom port range was selected.
3. Fixed an issue that could prevent access to shared pages when the share link password contained special characters.
4. Fixed an issue that could cause failures when repairing the Hyper Cache of a RAID 1 array.
5. Fixed an issue where the storage pool status displayed incorrectly when the Hyper Cache of a RAID 5 array was corrupted.
6. Fixed an issue where canceling the quota of a Btrfs volume might not save successfully.
7. Fixed an issue where the conditions for RAID 10 degradation and repair were not accurately judged.
8. Fixed an issue where guest access did not work properly on macOS.
9. Fixed an issue where mounting a cloud drive occasionally took over ten seconds to load and display properly.
10. Fixed an issue where some access permission settings were not successfully restored when restoring system configurations.
11. Fixed an issue where an incorrect prompt appeared when dragging files into a directory with restricted permissions.
12. Fixed other known issues.
Important Information:
1.Updating the system theoretically will not affect the data on your hard drives, but for safety, please make sure to back up your data in advance.
2.Before updating, ensure that your primary volume (usually volume1) has at least 3GB of available space. Insufficient storage space may cause the update to fail.
3.After the update, the IP address of your TNAS may change. Please use the TNAS PC desktop client to search for and reconnect to the device.
Update Procedure:
1.Go to TOS > Control Panel > General Settings > System > Update, and click "Check for updates."
2.Follow the prompts to update the system.
3.After the system update is complete, you may need to refresh your browser.
4.The TNAS IP address may change after the update. If you cannot connect to your TNAS using the previous IP address, use the TNAS PC client to search for the new IP address.
