I need some Help. I am trying to set up my D2-320 together with a TrueNas. I want to use the drives (2x 8TB Seagate) in single Mode and schedule Backups. I dont want to use RAID. Unfortunately the D2-320 is reporting identical serialnumbers for both drives in single Mode, which blocks TrueNas for setting up the pools. I read about firmware updates solving this issue for other models. Is there a Firmware available fixing the issue for me?

Wait for a TerraMaster employee/representative to clarify/verify that the same update for the D4/D6-320 TDAS enclosures is applicable to the D2 (which should also be using the same ASMedia solution): viewtopic.php?t=7111

This firmware is not applicable to D2-320. Please install HDD1/HDD2 while the device is powered off, then turn it on for use.
Additionally, you can also insert each of these two hard drives into separate slots individually for inspection.
D2-320 uses hardware RAID and does not support creating RAID on TrueNAS. Please ensure you are using single mode.
