Hello all! I just purchased an F2-221 and installed TOS 6 for my home computer needs (very basic needs of file storage).
I am having some difficulties in using USB Copy. It has never completed a backup. It will always get stuck on the same file (until I delete that file and rerun the backup process. Then the problem will happen on another file). The files aren't corrupt, they don't have long/unsupported characters. If I just Ctrl-C/V the whole drive, that goes fine.
If I try "incremental" (which I am not even sure if that will work, since I have never completed a full backup with USB Copy), it just stays at 0% "Calculating" (or whatever the wording is).
I'm even having strange difficulties with the execution of the backup. I understand that in USB Copy you are creating a 'task' to run, but I can't even delete that task after it fails, until I eject the drive (none of the options are available such as "Run" "Delete", etc)
I have tried on 2 separate working hard drives. Both problems happen randomly on both drives (And both drives are find doing the ctrl-c/v. But that isn't ideal for wear, as well as having to delete all the data on the USB drive before starting to copy)
Are there other options for a simple, easy backup program? I can't seem to find any. Some threads mention RSync but that doesn't appear to be simple/accessible in this TOS 6.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Bumping this back to the top. I tried another one now (different usb HD). I tried Incremental. Started at 10% (?) on a PDF file, and just stayed there the entire day. Any thoughts?
Clearly this option isn't working, is there another App option to do backups to a USB hard drive? Or is there a way to Map the USB drive attached to the F2-221?
Thanks!

It is recommended that you first uninstall the current version of USB Copy and then reinstall the latest version, 2.1.170. After installation, check whether the backup operation can be performed normally. Additionally, you may consider reformatting these two hard drives. At the same time, it might be worth trying a higher-quality cable to test if that resolves the issue.

Thanks for the response!
Not to sound like a dunce, but where would one find 2.1.170? Even Google doesn't seem to know of it's existence?

Please log in to the TOS system and navigate to "App Center" > "Recommended Apps" section, where you will find the USB Copy 2.1.170 application.
