[Help] Web interface and Windows app not working

I recently updated my f6-424 to the latest TOS version 6, after checking the settings page from the web interface. Yesterday the web interface stopped working entirely. I also can't seem to log in to the Windows desktop app, although I haven't tried doing so since getting the NAS in June.

The web interface page appears to initially load, but will not populate with anything useful. The desktop app gives me an error and never logs in.

I'm not sure what to do. I've searched the forums and read that restarting nginx might help, but I don't think I have ssh enabled on my NAS. That's not something I thought I would ever use. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I can still access SMB shares from Windows, and qBittorrent still functions, but I can't actually use the web interface for any reason at this point. I have rebooted the NAS by momentarily pressing the power button, letting it power off and then powering it back on, but to no avail. The issue still persists between restarts.

What was the TOS version before the update? Is the current version 6.0.783?
You can try restarting the NAS, which may be effective.
SSH is disabled by default. You can enable it in the control panel when you next access the TOS web interface.

The version before was 6.0.xxx - it was whatever version of 6.0 was available as the latest when I set up the NAS in May/June of this year. I apparently updated to 6.0.770(-00002) according to what the web interface does display. I used the available update page in the web interface, and I would have hoped it would have updated to the latest available 6.0.783.

I tried rebooting it again just now, but it's still doing the same thing. The Windows app displays the same error as the screenshot I posted and the web interface will only load the background. It won't populate with any of the usual UI elements.

I was going to try restarting nginx with putty using ssh, but that was a troubleshooting page from TOS 4.0, I believe.

Is there a way for me to reinstall TOS 6.0 (the latest version) while maintaining data and apps? I fear a full re-installation may be the only way I can fix this.

I have the ability to back up everything on the NAS (it is currently occupied with about 39TiB of data), but it will take a while since I'll have to shuffle things around on the three computers I have so I can fit everything.

I don't mind completely starting over, if that's the only way. I would just need the instructions on what to do and how to initiate the re-installation process.

If you are prompted to format your disk during the reinstallation process, you need to pay attention and stop the operation. If disk formatting occurs during the installation of TOS 6, it is very likely that your data will be erased.
