[Help] D4-320 drives keep disappearing and reappearing from Windows 11

Post by itm60 »

I have a new D4-320 which I've connected to an Asus NUC 15 Pro+. It's connected to one of the thunderbolt ports on the rear. I've found that the 3 drives that I have installed are frequently disappearing and re-appearing in Windows 11 (i.e. the drive letters disappear from Explorer), even when the PC is being actively used. The power and USB cables are both secure (and both brand new).
Can anyone advise on how I can keep the drives permanently connected while the PC is in active use?

Mini computers may have issues with weak USB port signals. You can try using a shorter USB cable or connecting through an active USB hub: viewtopic.php?t=448
