Not enough memory for SSD Cache?

I ran into this problem a while back and gave up on it as I couldn't get it to work (and I did not expect the SSD cache to do much for my purposes anyway), but I've been doing some maintenance and changes and thought I would see if there was any solution to this now.

I have a U4-423 currently running TOS 6.0.783 with 32GB of memory. Outside of the SSD cache issue, it has been working as expected. I have 4 20TB HDDs in a 54TB TRAID. Just in the last couple days I actually did a reset on the U4-423 and wiped the volumes as I have transferred my main storage elsewhere and after I had it initialized and created a volume again...the problem still persists.

I have tried four different SSDs, but each had the same result. At no time is the SSD part of a storage pool. The create a hyper cache option is available and works just fine until the last step when it gives me an error of "Not enough memory to available to create the SSD cache" after pressing confirm. The really odd thing is I have a USB HDD enclosure connected for backup with 72TB of space and it will setup a hyper cache with no issue. It is only on the internal drive bays on the unit itself that puts out this error. Any one have advice?

Please generate a system log package in the "Support & Help > Issue Feedback" module and send it via email to support(at)terra-master.com, so that our engineers can promptly investigate the root cause of the issue.

In general, the SSD Cache in versions 6.0.694 and later is no longer restricted by RAM capacity.
What was the TOS6 version you were using before updating to 6.0.783?
You may schedule a remote troubleshooting session via Live Chat on www.terra-master.com.

This time around after the reset it has only been on version 6.0.783. I believe it initialized at that version as no updates were found when I checked right after the system came up.

Was there an update for this? I'm facing the exact issue on an f4-424 that is brand new.

If you are encountering this issue on the latest TOS6 version, please contact the official website's Live Chat and include the URL of this post.
We can arrange for engineers to remotely troubleshoot the problem.

It is possible that your SSD is a rare model that only supports 4K sector size, which causes a mismatch issue when setting up the SSD Cache. We recommend that you contact the SSD vendor to have them modify the sector markings for you.
