I have a U4-423 currently running TOS 6.0.783 with 32GB of memory. Outside of the SSD cache issue, it has been working as expected. I have 4 20TB HDDs in a 54TB TRAID. Just in the last couple days I actually did a reset on the U4-423 and wiped the volumes as I have transferred my main storage elsewhere and after I had it initialized and created a volume again...the problem still persists.
I have tried four different SSDs, but each had the same result. At no time is the SSD part of a storage pool. The create a hyper cache option is available and works just fine until the last step when it gives me an error of "Not enough memory to available to create the SSD cache" after pressing confirm. The really odd thing is I have a USB HDD enclosure connected for backup with 72TB of space and it will setup a hyper cache with no issue. It is only on the internal drive bays on the unit itself that puts out this error. Any one have advice?
