[Help] F4-424 not possible to connect anymore

I have been experiencing an absolute nightmare today.
I'm not able to connect via SSH nor the WebGUI to my F4424. I had to connect a screen in order to see what is going on.

I had tons of service errors coming up on boot. These services failed to load, so no wonder:

Code: Select all

atop-service
avahi-daceon service
iptables.service
nmbd.service
postgresql1013-main.service
redis-server.service
ResourceCollection.service
systemd.networkd.service
systemd.resolved.service
tnas.smartfan.service
I already removed the drives and set up TOS 6 up again. This works to a certain degree but the problems come back.
I'm using the latest TOS 6 770.

Any idea how to fix this?

Extract from journalctl -b

Code: Select all

redis err: !BADKEY:dial tcp 127.0.0.1:6379: connect: connection refused

Hello, after reinstalling the system, can you access TOS?
viewtopic.php?t=423
If so, please collect a system report and send it to [email protected] for analysis.

This issue may be caused by uncontrolled occupancy leading to high load and system operation blockage. It may also be caused by other unknown anomalies, and specific inspections are needed to accurately determine the cause.

OK. So how to fix it. And how to get my system up again WITHOUT data loss?!
Is it the same way to go ? In my case is would be Method B cause TNAS is not reachable via LAN :( . Only console access.

Many thanks

Are you about to reset the system? This is a possible approach.
Please pay attention to any 'Delete/Format' prompts during the system installation process. If such a prompt appears, do not continue with the operation, otherwise data will be lost. If there is no such prompt, you can proceed to the next step.

As said I need to reset system to get it back to work due to high "high load". Not a saying for quality dear Terramaster. ;)
Well, I choosed method B from this Guide viewtopic.php?t=423. It's not really 1:1 fpr TOS 6 but I got the point. When it comes to the point with the 60 sec countdown I choosed "ESC" -Key. Then (following the instructions on screen) always the online way (1st Bootloader, then TOS). It installed TOS onto HDD.
My Data was there - gladly what a thank :) . Now I installed 1 M.2 (shutdown system first). Thi one is (and was) for TOS so I could saftly delete it. Afterwards mirgrated the system onto it (HDD-> SSD).
Next shutdown to insert 2nd M.2. This is (and was) the Hypercache. need for earesing that. Hm. Ok, no other opportunity.

Of course all Apps (Docker) and Users and such is away, BUT my data IS THERE. And thats the most imortant thing! I had TRaid with the 2 HDD in there. Just for your information.
My case is solved, thanks.

Resetting the system configuration from the control panel, it mentions obviously it will erase all system configurations. My question what a good list of screens that I should capture so I can restore the values I need. Yes I know, backup data.......

And does it matter if I'm running TOS 7 version 375?
